Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of beyondbeautifulbymelissa.com (the "Site") and to the consultations, treatments, private parties, gift cards and products offered by Beyond Beautiful by Melissa ("Beyond Beautiful," "we," "us") at our three locations: 522 E Putnam Ave, Suite #6, Greenwich, CT 06830; 1513 Weaver Street, Scarsdale, NY 10583; and 22 S Greeley Ave, Chappaqua, NY 10514. By using the Site or booking an appointment, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or book services.

1. Not medical advice

Treatment descriptions, photographs, reviews and other content on this Site are general information only. They are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and they do not replace an in-person consultation. Using the Site, sending a form or messaging us does not create a provider-patient relationship. In a medical emergency, call 911.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to book or receive treatment. By booking, you confirm that the information you give us is accurate and complete.

3. Consultations and treatment

1. Every treatment begins with a consultation. Treatments are performed by licensed medical professionals acting within their scope of practice, as required by Connecticut and New York law.
2. Before treatment you will complete a medical history and sign an informed consent for your specific treatment. Please tell us about all medical conditions, medications, allergies, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and prior procedures.
3. Your provider may recommend a different approach, a smaller treatment, or no treatment at all if that is what is right for you, and may decline or postpone any treatment that is not safe or appropriate.

4. Results vary

Individual results vary. The number of sessions you need and how long results last differ from person to person, and photographs or reviews on the Site show individual experiences, not a promise of your outcome. Payment is for treatment performed, not for a specific result. Your provider will review the expected benefits, risks and aftercare with you before any treatment.

5. Appointment fee and cancellations

1. An appointment fee of $100 is collected before your appointment. It goes toward your service, and it is refunded in full if no service is rendered.
2. You may cancel or reschedule up to 48 hours before your appointment without penalty. Inside 48 hours, the appointment fee is non-refundable.
3. A request sent through the Site is not a confirmed appointment until we confirm it with you.

6. Pricing and payment

Prices discussed on the Site or by phone are confirmed at your consultation, because the right plan depends on you. Payment for services is due at the time of your appointment.

7. Private parties

Private parties require at least six guests and reserve one of our three locations for two hours for your group. Every guest who receives treatment must be at least 18, complete a medical history and consent, and have their own consultation. Your provider may decline to treat any guest for safety reasons.

8. Gift cards

Gift cards are redeemable for services and products at any of our locations. Our gift cards do not expire, and no inactivity, dormancy or service fees are ever charged against a balance, consistent with Connecticut and New York law. Remaining balances are redeemable for cash where the law requires it. Please treat gift cards like cash, as we cannot replace lost or stolen cards. Gift cards are sold through Square, and Square's terms apply to the purchase.

9. Skincare products

We offer medical-grade skincare chosen at your consultation. Product availability can vary by location. Questions about a product you bought should go to the location where you bought it.

10. Photographs

We may take clinical photographs for your medical record. We will not use your photographs on the Site, in advertising or on social media without your separate written consent, which you may withdraw at any time for future use.

11. Messages from us

If you give us your phone number or email, we may contact you about your enquiry and appointments. We will send marketing messages only if you ask to receive them, and you can opt out at any time. For text messages, reply STOP to opt out. Message and data rates may apply.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your information and is part of these Terms. Please do not send detailed medical information through the Site's forms. Share it with us at your consultation.

13. Use of the Site

Please do not misuse the Site, including by trying to access it without permission, interfering with how it works, submitting false requests, or copying its content for commercial use. The text, photographs and logos on the Site belong to Beyond Beautiful by Melissa or its licensors. Links to third-party services, such as gift card purchasing, maps and social media, are provided for convenience, and those services have their own terms.

14. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Site is provided "as is." We work to keep it accurate and up to date but cannot promise it will always be error-free or available, and we may correct or change content at any time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the Site. This section applies to the Site only. The care you receive at our locations is governed by your informed consent and applicable law, and nothing in these Terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state where your services are provided: Connecticut for our Greenwich location, and New York for our Scarsdale and Chappaqua locations. If a concern comes up, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it directly. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the courts of the county where that location is located.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the Site or book services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
